New features of 127 build of AVP for Windows 95, Windows 98 and Windows NT.

1) AVP32(both) - ini-file avp.ini that boots from executable modules. Avp.ini sets path to the bases.

2) Current configurations saves by default in %WINDOWS% directory.
If it doesn't have specified in avp.ini file.

3) Bases could be stored in any place over the network, but you shoud specifi the path in avp.ini file like it was described up.

4) It makes possible 3 scheme of installation:

a) Local installation
b) Local executables and remote bases
c) Shared installation with local executables launch from shared folder with "read-only" rights.

5) Possibility configuration AVP Monitor, to start Windows System Service in case of local installation (if doesn't need Administrative rights).

6) Change AVP Monitor. Now AVP Monitor show windows dialog in place of blue system screen. This dialog show to screen under Windows 95, Windows 98 and Windows NT too.

General information
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
The Antiviral Toolkit Pro for Windows 95&98 (AVP32) is a complete package
of protection against computer viruses. It represents a new step in the
struggle against computer viruses and is optimized for the work 32-bit
applications of Microsoft Windows 95&98. AVP uses all possibilities of these
operation platphorms. AVP is easy to be used, it has a very large antivirus
database, which is constantly being updated to as new viruses appear.

To install AVP into your computer carry out the following steps:
- insert the disk with AVP;
- run SETUPAVP.EXE;
- follow all of the instructions of installation of AVP;
- to register AVP please type number pointed in your registration card
  or any number in case of evaluation copy.

The main features of AVP

AVP 3.0:
- scans disks, operative memory, files, and sectors of disks, and system
areas (Boot sector, MBR, Partition table) to detect and eliminate viruses;
- detects and removes the next types of viruses;
    - polymorphic (mutants);
    - stealth viruses;
    - special viruses which have been written for Windows 95;
    - macro viruses in Word and Excel;
- uses a Code Analyzer which is able to detect about 80% of unknown viruses;
- has a mode of scanning packed files (Unpacking Engine);
- has a mode of scanning arcieved files (Extracting Engine);
- a possibility of automatical scanning;
- a wide range of settings;
- powerful Help system.

The evaluation copy of AVP:
- has no cure infected objects;
- has no code analyzer to analyse unknown viruses;
- can not be installed from a network server (only from workstation).

Support of users and distribution of the new antivirus databases (updates)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------
You can get a technical information, updates of antivirus databases and a
new versions of AVP from the AVP-distributor who sold you AVP. To update
a current version of AVP:
- copy the new anti-virus measures (known as virus definitions) into the
AVP  working catalogue;
- replace the current AVP.SET file with the one you received with new
updated definitions.

The updated definitions together with a new AVP.SET file is obtainable
via our bulletin board system (BBS) of technical support; by FTP; from the E-mail conference; in the WWW.
